Bhabha Group of Institutions (BGI), Kanpur was established in 1993.
Its affiliated by GBTU Lucknow.
Bhabha Institute of Technology has been established to meet the ever growing demand for trained professional manpower for industries and also to serve as a training ground for children of this region in the engineering profession.
The main aim of BGI is to prepare competent engineers, techno-crafts and researchers for various sectors of industries to meet the challenges and help industry and society for a better life and to be an acknowledged center of academic excellence, in the field of engineering, technology and management education, by all stake-holders.
The academy is situated in a sprawling campus of 200 acres in the institutional area of Kanpur Dehat and aims to be value based centre of excellence.
