Established in 2007, in Mumbai, SVKM’S NMIMS Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce is administered by the Narsee Monjee Educational Trust and Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM).

Under the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, it is one of the well-known institutes in Mumbai that was set up to impart quality education in India for deserving students.

Self-affiliated with the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, the college is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under the UGC Act, 1956.

The college aims at providing quality undergraduate courses in business/management education on the lines of the time-honored and respected traditions followed by the NMIMS. Located in the urban part of Mumbai, it is a private, self-financed, co-educational institute providing regular courses.

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) was established as a recognized Management Institute in 1981 under the Mumbai University by the Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal with the donation provided by the Narsee Monjee Educational Trust. As per UGC norms, it became a “Deemed to be University”.

At the state, city and national levels, the college has received recognition in sports, co-curricular activity and academic sectors under the affiliated university. Ranked as one of the top B-Schools in the country, the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai has recognized it as one of the best colleges in India in the field of management and commerce. The NMIMS Management review has now become a part of the Web of Science Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).

Undergraduate courses (three years) are provided at the college. These are Bachelor of Business Administration in Management streams, Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science in Finance, with various specializations, also offered.  The college also offers a postgraduate (two years) course in Master of Science in Finance. These are all offered under the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

Under the affiliated university, a five-year integrated course is also offered. It is the Bachelor of Business Administration-Masters in Management Studies (BBA-MMS).

With the Rotterdam Business School, Netherlands and Hogeschool Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands the college conducts student exchange programmes. The college is in talks with other renowned business schools in Australia, the United States and Europe for increasing the scope and scale of student exchange programmes.
