Baliram Patil Arts, Commerce and Science college, Kinwat (Dist. Nanded) was established on 15th June 1972 and managed under Kinawat Education Society.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with the Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) on 25th May 1976 & 12(B) in November 2006 under Act, 1956.
 
It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "C++" Grade (CGPA Score 2.12 on a 4 Point Scale in 1st Cycle) on 16th February 2004.

The objective of the college is to promote and spread all aided education among the classes and community including backward classes, to provide facilities to the backward and other classes of the students and open orphanages, Mahila Mandal, Sanskar Kendra for the progress of backward classes and scheduled tribes and to make them available all the facilities and advantages of the government schemes.

It is a co-educational private institute, providing a regular course which is located in a rural part of  Nanded played a pioneering role in the field of higher education. the campus is located in another city also has a different name of institutions.

The college conferred the status of grant-in-aid college that the fees and all the facilities for the students are fixed by the government. The student's admission is done as per the Admission Criteria prescribed by the affiliating university.

This college has awarded in the field of research by the Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. Also Numbers of an award in publication, offering scholarship also awarded by the different society.

At present, the college offers two years intermediate courses in Arts, Science, & Commerce streams with optional streams under Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Pune.

The college also offers three years undergraduate courses in Arts, Science & Commerce streams with various specializations under Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.

Apart from these courses, the college also has a Contact Centre of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik for various courses through distance mode.
