Babu Banarasi Das College of Teachers, Jahangirabad has taken long strides for the pursuit of excellence which is an unending pursuit. The College has grown from strength to strength towards their mission to provide a valued & quality learning experience thus making a difference to the human resource it produces. With this objective BBDIT, B.Ed College has been established, so that the quality teachers of tomorrow can be produced who would not only impart quality education in their job but effectively, innovatively and skillfully. The skill that they learnt at BBDIT, B.Ed College should be able to add innovativeness to their classrooms as they motivate the students to learn. The one-year B.Ed program is approved by NCTE (An apex body for governing and regulating entire teacher education program in India), Govt of India and is affiliated to CCS University, Meerut. The aim of the multicultural learning community is to establish a caring community that facilitates students’ residential and academic lives. In order to make this idea a reality, we organize a variety of academic and non-academic programs throughout the year that helps the students to become acquainted and to enable them to interact with people who have both a personal and a professional interest in diversity.
