On October 17, 2004, Baba Saheb BhimRao Ambedkar Law College (BSBRALC) was established by Prof. (Dr.) V.G. Goswami, who was also the Head of the Deptt. & Dean Faculty of Law in the University of Lucknow transformed his dream of building a Law College in the shape of this College.

The college campus is situated at Harknsgarhi Rae Bareilly Road and depicts a remarkable state of the art building.

The college provides a fertile field by giving an opportunity for the students to interact with the best professionals from the legal field, Bench and Bar, Educational Institutes and industrial houses thus enriching their learning experience.

Baba Saheb BhimRao Ambedkar Law College is an associated college of the University of Lucknow and it is under Self-finance Scheme and is duly approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi.

The college was recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) Act, 1956.

At present, the college offers three years LLB course and 5 years integrated course in B.A LLB with well-qualified teaching facility.
