Baba Farid Institute of Hotel Management (BFIHM), Dehradun was established in 2002.

It is affiliated by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal Universityand approved by Govt. of Uttaranchal (Uttarakhand).

The college offers Bachelors of Science in Hotel Management course. It is three years course. The institutes wants to prepare students for an active role in society, for academic citizenship.

The institut aims to achieve these goals by creating communities of learners at BFIHM, where researchers and students take one another seriously in developing academic knowledge by means of learning through research.

The institute's infrastructure is modern with well equipped facilities. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to the students in various departments of the college.
