AVS College of Engineering & Technology (AVSCET), Nellore was established in 2002.

The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Jawaharlal Technological University, Anantpur.

To develop AVSCET into a “Centre of Excellence for Engineering and Technology”by imparting quality education in the fields of science,engineering and technology, at undergraduate and post graduate levels to the rural and underprivileged youth, bringing out the total personality, creativity, ingenuity, moral ethical values and nurturing them towards top class corportate proffessionals as well as excellent researchers and enterpreneurs thus enabling the students to meet the challaenges of the industry and the diverse social needs of the nation, keeping pace with Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization.
