Aurora's Scientific Technological and Research Academy, Hyderabad was established in 2000. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU).

Aurora's Scientific Technological & Research Academy, previously Santh Samarth Engineering College was established by The Ravi Rishi Educational Society in the year 2000. A marathi linguistic minority institution, located at Bandlaguda only 13 KMs from Koti and 14 KMs from Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad, offers quality engineering education to the marathi speaking people in particular along with students of other communities in general.

It first commenced with the departments of Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology to offer B.Tech Program and the department of Humanities and Sciences to cater the needs of the B.Tech curriculum. It is dedicated to the cause of promotion of quality education. It is registered in the form of a Public Society, and has representation from various related segments of the society, e.g., educationists, technical specialists, administrators, social workers etc. to ensure overall healthy development of the activities undertaken.

The basic philosophy of the institute can be summed up as to be a centre of learning, excelling in academics, which imparts state of the art knowledge to its students, encourages staff and students to actively take up research and development activities and to be an agent of promotion of ethical values to its students and staff and thus serve the society. Towards this end, the institute has gone far ahead of just class room teaching and vigorously introduced activities like student seminars, guest lectures by experts in different fields, mini-projects by students in part of their summer vocation, adjunct courses in recent developments etc. to name a few. The institute also actively encourages its teaching and supporting staff to acquire higher qualifications and supports them while they do so. This is done with a view to enhance the quality of educational activities in the institute. As a result of this, the institute can boast of a very percentage of staff with Post Graduate and Ph.D. qualifications. The college is located in the land admeasuring 22 acres just 5 km away from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
