Assefa College of Education, Madurai was established in 2009.

Assefa College of Education is among the upcoming institutes of Education offering one year of Bachelor of Education Programme.

Functioning under the management of Association for Sarva Seva Farms, the college started their first academic session from 2009-2010.

Affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, the college was set up with an objective of promoting as well as meeting the need of secondary level teachers in the rural region.

The College which has received recognition from the N.C.T.E (National Council for Teachers Education) has equipped itself with all the necessary infrastructural facilities.
