Aryabharathi Polytechnic (AP), Tumkur was established in 1983 exclusively for girl students by the Aryan High School Association (Regd.).

Aryabharathi Polytechnic (ABPT) runs under the auspices of Aryan High School Association(R.). The college was established in 1983 under the Presidentialship of Late. M. S. Hanumantha Rao, Veteran Freedom Fighter with a vision to create centre of excellence in education and other related fields and to serve the society to enhance the quality of life through excellence and leadership in professionally relevant education. ABPT was established with the objective of providing quality technical education.

The institute is affiliated to B.T.E., Bangaluru, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Recognized by Government of Karnataka. Our Polytechnic is situated at Saraswathipuram extension of Tumakuru, Karnataka. Aryabharathi Polytechnic is in Tumakuru, the city which is adjacent to Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka State and about an hour drive from there on NH-4. Students and staff adore the meticulously maintained campus and welcoming natural surroundings which itself is an inspiration to learn and excel.

The set of shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices that characterizes an institution can be felt within minutes of entering the institute. After an overwhelming success during all these years, we have stepped into 30^th year with a greater footing with the number of candidates admitted every year shoot up drastically. The first Polytechnic in the entire Tumkur District to Start Diploma Course in Apparel Design & Fabrication Technology (AD&FT).
