Arul Anandar College (AAC), Madurai was established in 1970.
It is affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University.
Arul Anandar College is an autonomous minority Catholic institution, is one of the constituent colleges of the Jesuit Madurai province of the Society of Jesus.
The objective of the college is to provide facilities for academic excellence, training in soft and professional skills and integral development of rural students and empowering them for social transformation.
The aim of the college is to enable students to become agents of social transformation by imparting skills in research and to build AAC into a policy advocacy centre.
