Apex Institute of Management & Research, Pune was established in 2001.

as a part of the APEX Group of Institutes. The APEX Group of Institutes started with PGDBM courses affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education in 2004 and presently have two management institutes i.e.

APEX Institute of Management & Research for MBA, approved by Pune University; and APEX School of Management & Entrepreneurship Development for PGDM, approved by AICTE.

The Group's aim is to create a knowledge based center of excellence in education, training, research and consultancy in various fields.

The Group has introduced two courses, MBA & PGDM. These are regular courses of two years that meet the needs of modern business.

The MBA course is affiliated to University of Pune and approved by AICTE and the PGDM course is approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi.

The APEX Group has also initiated a graduate College of Arts, Commerce & Science and post graduate course of MCA with the affiliation & approval of University of Pune from the academic session 2011-12.
