Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar was starting with a small school which was established in 1967 and managed by Apeejay Education Society and founded by Late Dr. Stya Paul.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.

It is affiliated with Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade (in 2nd Cycle) on 31st December 2009.

The aim of our schools is to promote a system of integral education in a congenial child-friendly environment that emphasizes the unity of all knowledge, synthesizes humanity and sciences and recognizes the fact that each child is unique

The institution is committed to providing quality higher education in art and its allied fields, to all the students desiring to do so. The institute also works towards creating art awareness in the society by various means.

The trust offering quality education from Pre-Primary to Doctoral levels and this institution is to train young artists for professional careers in allied fields and create art awareness.

It is a co-educational self-financed private college, providing a regular course which is located in a rural part of a Jalandhar played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

This college has conferred the status as "College with Potential for Excellence (CPE)" and the best college by the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Also numbers of an award in publication, offering scholarship also awarded by the different societies.

The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science streams with various specializations and two years post-graduate courses in Commerce and Science streams with various specializations under Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

The college also offers four years professional degree courses in Fine Arts with various specialization. Also offers postgraduate diploma and certificate courses as well.
