Established in 1976, Acharya Nagarjuna University Centre for Distance Education was established with the main campus located between Guntur and Vijayawada on Chennai-Kolkata National Highway (N.H.5).

The centre was recognized by the Distance Education Council (DEC), New Delhi to offer distance mode courses.

The college offers quality education at an affordable cost through a wide network of Study Centres.

At present, the college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, & Management streams with various specializations through distance mode. It also offers Diploma and Add-On Certificate courses as well.
