Anand Mercantile College of Science, Management and Computer Technology (AMCOST), Anand was established in 1999. It is affiliated to Sardar Patel University, Anand (SPU).

The Anand Mercantile Samaj Seva Trust (AMSST) realized the need to educate youngsters in real sense and prepare them for the future challenges and make a good career. The Trust established a college named Anand Mercantile College (Affiliated to Sardar Patel University ) in 1999 with courses of BCA and B.Sc., later courses like B.Sc. Biotechnology (2003) and BBA Special (2004) were added in the college.

Another two additional courses on M.Sc. (Informationtechnology) and M.Sc. (Biotechnology) were also introduced from year 2007 in the college with the help of efficient, competent and highly qualified faculty members. The college now runs these, full-time Degree Programs successfully. We have started B.Com. Special (English medium) from June-2011.

The college is housed in four storied building with spacious classrooms, a conference hall and well equipped laboratories with all the modern and sophisticated equipments, which aid in the learning process.

College is managed by Anand Mercantile Samaj Seva Trust (AMSST). AMCOST college is a vibrant learning institute that encourages a three-way partnership between students, parents and the management.

The strength of that partnership is reflected in the success of the students. This college is committed to provide students with high levels of support and the best facilities available.
