Anand Education College, Anand was established on 1st July 1981 with a view to imparting women education to young students of surrounding areas and from all over Gujarat.

The college is affiliated to Sardar Patel University, Anand and re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.48 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) in 2008.

It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) in June 1985 & 12(B) in April 1986 approved by National Council for Teacher Education, Bhopal (NCTE) Act-1993 vide Letter No.WRC/5-6/2K/12041 Dated: 29th December 2000 and allotted code No.313009.

Anand Education College authority is eager to keep pace with the constantly changing scenario of education world to enable the students to be in touch with the latest innovations in the area of education.

Since inception, the institute is privileged by the care, guidance, and nourishment from the management of Shri Ramkrishna Seva Mandal, Anand.

The smooth running and progress of the institute is the result of the continuous guidance and contribution of expert opinion of Governing Body members of the institute.

The institute offers one year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course with intake capacity of 100 students for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.

Various teaching and learning techniques are being used by the faculty to impart knowledge and skills to students at Anand Education College, Anand in its various departments.
