Amrita College of Nursing (ACN), Kochi was established in 2002.

It is affiliated to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University

It is recognized by the Kerala Nurses' and Midwives' Council and Indian Nursing Council. ACN is situated within the Health Sciences Campus in a separate building with excellent facilities.

The revised curriculum based on INC (Indian Nursing Council) syllabus was implemented in 2006. Extensive clinical practice is combined with rigorous coursework to offer a thorough understanding of nursing and it's relationship to overall health, as well as it's role in society.  

Amrita College of Nursing is the first College of Nursing in the private sector in Kerala to have obtained sanction from the Indian Nursing Council to start the M.Sc Nursing Programme with an intake of 20 students in four specialties (Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing). The programme commenced in 2009.
