AMG College of Education for Women, Visakhapatnam was established in 2003-2004.

Since its inception it has been flourishing physically and the student-teachers are being highly benefited through the rigorous practical and theoretical training.

The Directors of AMG Dr. Arun Kumar K. Mohanty & Mrs. Kezia Mohanty and the Dean of AMG Educational Institutions Dr. N. Jayakumar Rao have always been doing their best in establishing the college as the best in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The College proved as the best by producing scintillating Results in 2003-2004 and 2004-2005, it has got 100% passes in both the years with many first classes. In 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 it has got 99% passes in both the years with many first class.

In 2007-2008 it has got 100% passes and expecting good Results in 2009-2010.

The college has been granted permission by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) and it is affiliated to the Andhra University.

The college has got all the infra –structural facilities according to the norms laid down by the NCTE, the State Government and the Andhra University. It always has full fledged teaching staff and Technical & administrative staff according to the norms.
