Amar Shaheed Kanchan Singh Mahavidyalaya (ASKS), Shivpuri Degree College was established in 2001 in the Shivapuri Village of Khaga Tahsheel of Distt. Fatehpur.

The college is on its own land covering on Area of 2.190 Hectares.

It is a love symbol of light house trying successfully to spread the light of knowledge in an area of about 30 Kms. All around flanked by Allahabad in east and Kanpur in North West.

To Meet out the challenges related to so social aspirations and needs specially of Higher education-Shree Dayal Saran Singh a devoted social worker & Community leader rose to occasion, formed a socio-cultured society- Shiva Bhajan Singh Gram Vikas Shiksha Samiti & along with his associates founded the institution with Herculean efforts in Shivapuri Village.

And the college is a part of the trust. Now it is affiliated to CSJM university, Kanpur.

Professionally the inhabitants are either petty business men or farmers. Illiteracy Percentage has been about 70% and other primary need facilities have been meager.

College Building Presents a Splendid view housing 50 large and small size rooms with imposing entrance. The premises in addition to large paly ground allotted with courts and Lawns & athletic event tracks. Indoor Comprises of 65 Classrooms, of 900 Sq.ft 5 Big Size Hall-viz-Multipurpose Hall, Conference & auditorium, Mass Media Room & Gymnasium Hall. Psycho-lab, Physiology lab anatomy lab, Science lab have separate entity Educational technology lab-harbors 75 computer sets with complete out fit. Indoor Stadium Consists Table Out fit Carrom and Chess tables. Presently college possess state N.O.C., Affiliation from CSJM & recognition from U.G.C. and N.C.T.E in Permanent basis. The college is also inducted under 2 F Scheme (12B) by U.G.C.

OBJECTIVE & AIMS

Eastern Part of District Fatehpur is an utterly under developed region & has been declared as Asevit Vikas Khand by the State Government. The College is on its own land covering Area with 14.00 acre and Contracted Area 50463.03 Square feet. It is a love symbol of light house trying successfully to spread the light of knowledge in an area of about 30 KMS. All around flanked by Allahabad in East and Kanpur in the North West.
