Amar Bharati Mahila College of Education, Gandhinagar was established in 2005 and managed under Amar Bharti Education Trust. The college is situated on the outskirts of village Moti Pavathi, Deep in Dehgam Taluka of Gandhinagar District at a distance of 50 Kms from Gandhinagar.
It seeks to serve in its own humble but determined manners the poor and socially and educationally backward people of 75 villages of three districts of Gandhinagar, Kheda, and Sabarkantha. It is located on the right bank of the river VATRAK, where the borders of the three districts converse and have created a district environment of its own.
The college is affiliated to Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey (S.N.D.T.) Women's University, Mumbai and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi.
The institute offers one year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.
Students here are admitted who completed their graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks in major or in aggregate at the Degree level. But Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.) & (O.B.C) candidates are to be entitled with a relaxation 5% marks ineligibility for admission.
It also offers one year Masters of Education (M.Ed) program for those who have completed their Bachelor's Degree in B.Ed from recognized university.
