Al-Ameer College of Engineering and Information Technology, Visakhapatnam was established in 2001.

It is affiliated to Andhra University.

Campus of Al-Ameer College of Engineering and Information Technology: The college is set amidst a valley at Gudilova, a place located twenty five kilometers away from the city at a sprawling 40 acre campus on the foreshore of Gambhiram gedda reservoir forms the finest environs conducive to learning.
