Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy was established by Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Khan in 1983 under the aegis of the Al-Ameen Educational Society, which was established in 1966.
The college has been a nurturing ground for pharmaceutical professionals. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.
It was accredited National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Pharmacy Council of India (OCI), New Delhi.
The college has an excellent library and information centre and the College has one fully-furnished seminar hall. The department has maintained medicinal plants in decorative pots in the college campus to familiarize students with the herbal drugs included for study in their curriculum.
At present, the college offers a wide range of courses in pharmacy field with optional specializations in undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and doctorate courses.
