Al-Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College, Bengaluru Urban was also known as Al-Ameen Degree College, Bengaluru Urban was established in 1968 under the management of Al-Ameen Educational Society.

The institution is committed to the principles of equity, excellence, discipline, and secularism. Its doors are open to students of all communities.It is situated in the heart of the city, opposite Lalbagh, Botanical Garden.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to Bangalore University, Bengaluru and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade.

The medium of instructions for all the courses is English. Admissions are open to the boys & girls of all sections of society irrespective of caste, creed, and religion. Since it is a minority institution the preference is given to the minorities and the deserving segments of the Society like SC, ST & OBC.

The main aim of the college is determined to provide the quality education to the students. With the correct mix of technology and human touch, the college empowers the aspiring teachers to propagate education through the rungs of the society so that they serve the nation while making a satisfying career for themselves.

The college offers three years undergraduate  & two years postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, & Commerce stream under Bangalore University, Bengaluru. It also offers some Certificate & Add-On courses.
