Aggarwal College Ballabgarh, Faridabad was established in 1971 with the sole mission to make accessible affordable quality higher education to students of the rural area.

The college is being run by a progressive parent body Aggarwal Vidya Pracharni Sabha (Regd.) which is committed to providing quality education to the young generation.

The college is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak and it is Grant-in-Aid college. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade - (CGPA Score 3.40 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) in 2014 and UGC declared the college as a “College with Potential for Excellence”.

The college started with a meager three under graduate courses, of B.A., B.Com. and B.Sc. But in the wake of this fast paced high competition-ridden the world, they felt the dire necessity of introducing professional courses to provide job oriented education to the students.

In order to meet this need, the College Managing Committee introduced various professional courses viz. BCA, BBA, BBA (CAM), B.Com with Computer Application, B.Sc. with Electronics, B.Sc. with Computer Science and B.Com (Hons.).

To make Post Graduate Courses available to interested students, the college started M.Com, M.A. (Hindi), M.Sc. (Computer Sc.), M.A. /M.Sc. (Maths) and M.Sc. (Physics) in subsequent years. To give wider options to students of Arts and Commerce faculty, the course in M.A. (Economics) has been introduced w.e.f. session 2013-14.

The College is being run in three campuses simultaneously. There are 3 Wings: Wing-I (For Girls, it also houses administrative block), Tigaon Road, Ballabgarh, Wing-II (Co-ed. in Arts, Commerce and Science faculty), Milk Plant Road, Sector-2, Ballabgarh and Wing-III (Co-ed. for Vocational Courses), Tigaon Road, Ballabgarh. Since 2009 the college has been running a number of Job Oriented short term Courses which can be pursued along with regular courses.

These Add-On Courses are Accounting on Computers, Functional English, Web Designing & Office Automation, Retail Marketing, Accountancy & Tax Procedure and Computer Hardware & Maintenance which are run with an assistance provided by University Grants Commission.

The college has an English Language Lab with modern software. There are 136 faculty members out of which 26 are working against sanctioned posts. There are 75 classrooms in three Wings, 12 Computer Labs having more than 500 personal computers and a separate Library in each Wing.

The college has established an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on 10th April 2009 to assure the quality of the college and also details regarding submission of Annual Quality Assurance Reports (AQAR) to NAAC annually
The college runs a canteen inside the campus where staff and students can have meals and snacks prepared in a hygienic manner and at an affordable cost
Internet & Wi-Fi facilities may be availed by the students and teachers as per their needs
The college has a large playground with will-equipment for different sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Hockey, Badminton and so on
A medical facility has been available in the college for the benefit of the students
State Government and Central Government offers a number of scholarships to the meritorious students and the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC
A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
The institute provides the training facility like- face to face interview, resume making, communication skills, that help the students to face the campus recruitment
For every course, the college imparts practical training to its students that helps them to understand better, improve their demonstrative skills, eliminate hesitation and in this process strives to mold them into industry ready professionals
The college also provides NCC training to its students. The NCC cadets attend different camps and earn pride for themselves and for the college
