AEC Tourism & Hospitality Academy (AECTHA), Chennai was established in 2005.

Its Affiliated to Anna University.

It is a part of the AEC Buisness School. It is aimed that students can prepare part of the course in India and then progress to study at the institutions campus at Singapore and New Zealand.

The World Travel and Tourism Council projects that between now and 2013, the Hotel and Tourism Industry will generate 250 million jobs consisting of approximately 10% of total world employment.

The main objective of the college is to devise educational process beyond the traditional classrooms and deliver instruction and training to geographically diverse audience nationally and internationally.

The institute's infrastructure is modern with well equipped facilities.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to the students in various departments of the college.
