AEA's Ashwini Ayurvedic Medical College & P.G. Centre, Davangere was established in the year 1992 with a great vision of scientific ayurvedic medical education and upgradation of Indian Systems of Medicine to the student community.

It is one of the premier ayurvedic medical colleges established under the management of Ashwini Educational Association to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The Ashwini twins are ‘DevaVaidyas’ the physicians of the Gods to treat and educate health to other gods. In the name and blessings of Ashwinivaidyas, Ashwini Educational Association’s Ayurvedic Medical College & Post Graduation Centre was established.

It is situated at Davangere (smart city) in the heart of Karnataka State. The campus is well established in 14 acres with 2 acres herbal garden which includes all medicinal plants. And 200 bedded own hospital with OPD and IPD and well-equipped operation theater and panchakarma, ksharasutra treatment facilities with highly qualified faculty.

At present, the college offers 5½ Years undergraduate course in Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). It also offers three years postgraduate course in Master of Surgery in Shalya Tantra and three years doctorate course in Doctor of Medicine in KayaChikitsa.
