Adarsh Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Bhiwani was established in 1970 by eminent social reformers & educationists of Bhiwani under the able leadership & guidance of Late Sh. B.D. Gupta and Late Sh. Bhagirathmal Buwaniwala.

It is one of the premier institutions to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The institute is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) under sections 2(f) and 2(B) of the UGC Act, 1956. It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The institute offers three years undergraduate & two years postgraduate courses in Arts, Science & Commerce stream under Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. It also offers self-financing & Add-on courses.

A medical facility has been available in the college for the benefit of the students
State Government and Central Government offers a number of scholarships to the meritorious students and the students belonging to SC / ST / OBC
A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
The college also provides NCC training to its students. The NCC cadets attend different camps and earn pride for themselves and for the college
The college Unit NSS Wing performs different type of social services within and outside of the area
