Adarsh Mahavidyalaya, Omerga (Dist. Osmanabad) was established on 10th September 1984 and managed by Shramjivi Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (R).

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and it is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The aim of the college is giving shape the bright future of students in a proper way because a student is a central figure in the stream of education in the universe.

It is a co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the rural part of Dhule played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

In the period of Indian National Movement Rajshri Shahu Maharaj, Shikshan Maharshi Karve, Karmveer Bhaurao Patil, and Maharshi Shinde have made a precious contribution in the educational arena.

Adarsh Mahavidyalaya has been consistently attempting not only to provide a mere formal education or create a graduate but also it has been struggling to inculcate ethical values, values of life, social awareness for the emotion of national integration.

The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.

The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce streams with various specializations and two years postgraduate courses in Arts and Science streams with various specializations under Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, and various other examinations are held in the college premises.
