Acharya's NR School of Nursing (ANRSN), Bangalore was established in 2003.
The College is approved by Karnataka Nursing Council (KNC), Indian Nursing Council (INC) and is recognized by the Government of Karnataka & affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS).
The School is managed and run under Acharya Institutes.
Objectives
To instill and develop in the students an attitude for nursing, to provide necessary knowledge and skills to give comprehensive nursing care to the patients in all types of illness.
” To develop skill in recognizing and intelligently interpreting the physical, mental and emotional manifestations of illness and be able to plan individual nursing care to patients based on their unique needs.
To help the students work in mutual cooperation with medical and paramedical personnel and participate in various programmes for prevention of diseases and promotion of health in the community.
To help the student integrate principles of hygiene and ethical and moral code involved in the practice of nursing.
To prepare students for teamwork and to enable them to tread the path of rewarding careers, worldwide.
To develop students as individuals who are sensitive to right of others and conscious of her/his duties and responsibilities to her/his own profession, fellowmen and the country.
Acquiring the ability to research and the application of advances in scientific knowledge to the relevant fields of work.
