About Arihant College of Arts, Commerce & Science

Arihant College of Arts, Commerce & Science, Pune was established in 2007 and managed by Arihant Education Foundation (AES)- (R).

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

The aim of the college is catered to the changing needs of the society without compromising on quality and its prime objective also imparting national education.

It is a co-educational private Institute, providing a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Pune played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college conferred the status of grant-in-aid college that the fees and all the facilities for the students are fixed by the government. The student's admission is done as per the admission criteria prescribed by the affiliating university.

The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

The college offers two years intermediate courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce streams with various specializations under Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Pune.

The college offers three years undergraduate courses and two years of postgraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, Science, and Management streams with various specializations under Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

Students should have to choose one honor (core) subject with two or more as subsidiary (elective) subjects for the specific undergraduate streams.

The college also offers distance education mode courses under Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU), Nashik.

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, and various other examinations are held in the college premises.

A special complaint cell (Sexual Harassment Cell) has been formed for the female students in the college. Students can directly complain orally or by written application to the head of the cell. Apart from this, Ragging is strictly prohibited on the college campus
To sharpen the skill of students and their personality development, various curricular and extra-curricular activities are the regular features of the institution
The college also provides NCC training to its students. The NCC cadets attend different camps and earn pride for themselves and for the college
The college Unit NSS Wing performs different type of social services within and outside of the area
