A.S. College, Khanna (Dist. Ludhiana) was established in 1946 and managed by Anglo-Sanskrit High School Khanna Trust and Management Society

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

It is affiliated with the Punjab University, Chandigarh and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade (CGPA Score 3.51 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) in 2015.

The aim of the college was trying its level best to achieve varied goals and objectives as enshrined in the Constitution of the institution.

It is a co-educational self-financed private Institute, providing a regular course which is located in a semi-rural part of a Ludhiana played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college conferred the status of grant-in-aid college that the fees and all the facilities for the students are fixed by the government. The student's admission is done as per the Admission Criteria prescribed by the Punjab University, Chandigarh.

The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science streams with various specializations and two years post graduate courses in Commerce and Science streams with various specializations under Punjab University, Chandigarh. it also offers Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) and certificate courses.

Also, the college offers distance education mode program for the students under Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi.

The college has a significant presence in the field of research. A number of major & minor research projects are awarded to the faculty members by the UGC and other bodies
