Its affiliated to Sardar Patel University, Anand (SPU).

with generous donation from Shrimati Anjanaben Ashokbhai Shah and Shri Gordhanbhai Hathibhai Patel.

Major areas of research activities include Development of Analytical methods of drugs, Formulations & Standardization of Antiasthamatic, Antifertility, Immunomodulator Herbal Drugs, Development of New Drug Delivery System (NDDS), Solubility enhancement of poorly water soluble drugs and Drug-Drug Interaction and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring.

Charutar Vidya Mandal was established in the year 1945 as a charitable trust with a prime objective of rural development through education to bring about the social awakening, social upliftment and enrichment.
