A.R.B. Garud Arts, Commerce & Science College, Shendurni (Dist. Jalgaon) was popularly known as Appasaheb Raghunathrao Bhaurao (A. R. B.) Garud College, Shendurni or Garud College was established in June 1971

The college is managed by The Shendurni Secondary Education Co-operative Society (R), which was established in 1944.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone on the part of progress.

The college is affiliated with North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade (CGPA Score 2.48 on a 4 Point Scale in 2nd Cycle) on 21st February 2014.

The college is also certified by World's Leading Quality Auditors USA, UK: An ISO 9001:2008 Certification.

The aim of the college is to involve the down-trodden classes of the Society that live in remote mofussil areas into the stream of national education, with the lofty aim of molding these young men and women into strong personalities and responsible citizens of the Nation for the nation.

It is a co-educational private Institute, provided a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Jalgaon played a pioneering role in the field of higher education.

The college had received many awards and accolades at a city, state and national level for their educational advancements also received the numbers of achievements awards in the field of sports and curricular activities under North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.

The college offers two years intermediate courses in Arts and Commerce streams with various specializations under Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune.

The college offers three years undergraduate courses and two years of postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce streams with various specializations under North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. It also offers Postgraduate Diploma courses.

University examinations of different courses, examinations conducted by North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, and various other examinations are held in the college premises.
