A.K.P (P.G.) College, Khurja was founded in 1966 and it has successfully completed make than forty years, Since its inception it stands as a premier institution in higher education far girls in nearby districts.

It stands special because far at least these decades it was the only girls P.G. College in district Bulandshahr. Initially it started only as a degree college with art faculty. The eight subject i.e. Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Music, Economics, History, Political Science and Psychology were taught at graduation level. Latter PG Classes in Hindi and Political Science were introduced respectively in 1986 and 1992 the last four year Home Science has been inducted as a subject.

The college has a double story spacious building with lush gardens. There are twenty well furnished Class Room. The college has 24 hour watch and power supply in the campus.The college has well equipped Home Science and Psychology Labs where students perform different types of experiments and practical.

The aim of the college is not only create traditional but techno savvy youths hence computer education is provided to each and every students of the college.

One of the striking features of the college is the department of music it's only college in nearby area to have music (Vocal) as a subject at graduation level. Many students of the college have participated in funa Mahotsava at state level and won prizes.

The highly educated and supportive teaching staff of the college creates a positive and encouraging atmosphere in the college. The budding talents are flourished and taken to the zenith. As a result the students of the college regularly find places in University, Meerut list both at UG and PG level in extra curricular activities also like debate, essay and poem writing rangoli making the students of the college, Every year a colorful annual function is celebrated showing striking range of cultural skills of the students.

The college library is having approximately 25000 books and magazines. It has a knowledge cell which provides material for above over 300 subjects. Many Competitive magazines, library both in Hindia and English are available for the students.

The college provides different scholarships to the talented and the poor student's. Free uniforms and sweaters are given to the poor students.The college administration maintaining the dignity of the college and keeping the college atmosphere pure, positive, friendly and perfectly suitable for academic.
