A.D.M. College for Women (ADMC), Nagapattinam was established in 1975.

The college is affiliated Bharathidasan University and accredited by NAAC with A grade.

The autonomy was granted by UGC in 2004, launching the college into a new era of academics.

The college offers 21 courses in the faculties of Arts, Humanities and Sciences, Commerce and Information technology at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

In addition to these courses research programmes are also offered.

The college apart from the regular courses, 6 UGC sponsored career oriented programs are offered by the departments in order to develop the skills of the students. Moreover, three vocational training courses are also offered to widen the horizon and potential of the students.

The aim of the college is to empower women through education and to be in the forefront of higher education in order to provide the Nation the high caliber manpower of women needs.
