Use these magical phrases during the viva exam - good morning, sir/ma'am, thank you, sir/ma'am and sorry sir/ma'am. Wish the examiner good morning after entering the exam hall. If you don't know the answer say, "I don't know," immediately. Don't look upwards and downwards while thinking about the answer, always maintain eye contact with the examiner.
Understand The Concept
First of all listen to the question asked during the viva exam carefully and prepare the answer in your mind. While preparing for the exam, keep these three things in mind. Don't mug up the subject, try to understand the topic from its basics and discuss viva questions regarding the experiment with your friends.
Ask Your Teacher
After the completion of every lab session, don't forget to ask your lab consultant about what kind of questions you will be asked during the viva exam. Note down those questions and prepare a list of typical viva questions for each and every experiment. It might help you during your viva exam.
Do Practical’s Well
Sometimes the examiner will ask you to explain the experiment that you have done in the practical exam. Explain it in terms of the parameters you used for doing the experiment, and try to give real-time examples of your experiment.
