World Pharmacists Day 2022: September 25
It celebrates the contribution of pharmacy and it's practitioners in keeping the world a fit and healthy place to live in.
History
The Day was created, and first celebrated, by International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) Council in 2009.
Why September 25
Because the FIP - global body of pharmacists - had come into existence on this very date in 1912.

“Pharmacy united in action for a healthier world”
Why FIP came into being?
For development of pharmacy profession through practice, innovations, and developing  workforce to meet the global health care needs and expectations.
World Pharmacists Day Achievements
Tuberculosis deaths reduced by 14% between 2015 - 2019.
The maternal mortality ratio dropped by about 38% worldwide between 2000 and 2017
Since 1990, the global under-5 mortality rate has dropped by 60%
33 countries have reached the target for a 35% reduction in TB deaths since 2015, and 86 have achieved a 20% reduction in incidence
31% decline in new HIV infections (2010-20)
HIV mortality since 2016 has come down by 32%
Nine more countries have been certified as malaria free since 2012
And cases in the Greater Mekong region - a hotbed of malaria - have dropped by almost 90%
