The day is celebrated to promote awareness about cardiovascular disease which is the leading cause of death in the world followed by cancer.
September 28 is celebrated as the World heart Day in the world
History
Antoni Bayés de Luna, president of World Heart Federation from 1997-99, started the celebration with the help of WHO in 1999.
Number 1 cause of death globally
Heart diseases claim a staggering 18.6 million lives each year - which is nearly half of all deaths caused by all non-communicable diseases globally.
The theme of World heart day 2022 is
'USE HEART FOR EVERY HEART'.
Objective
Objective is to teach masses what actions they must take to prevent this deadly disease from developing  and causing sufferings
Why Heart Problems develop?
Sedentary and inactive lifestyle, unhealthy diet, high level of cholesterol in the body, lack of workout routine, consumption of tobacco, Smoking, and high blood pressure are some of the risk factors
