How to know if a snake is venomous?

Venomous snakes have triangular-shaped head.
While non-venomous snakes have a rounded head.
Snakes know these facts.
That's why even non-venomous snakes flatten their head to make it look triangular, to ward off predators.
Another way to recognize if a snake is poisonous, is by its eyes.
Venomous snakes have slit-like vertical pupils,
While non-venomous ones have rounded pupils like us humans.
However, don't go near the snake to see what kind of pupil it has.
You can use your phone camera with zoom to do the same, safely.
Many poisonous snakes are brightly colored.
Bright warm colors like red, yellow, green and orange.
Though utilizing this knowledge can help you recognize a venomous snake 90% of the times,
you must know their are exceptions to such rules. Be careful!
So, be careful! Very very careful!
