The 15th of August 1947 is inscribed in India's golden history. It is the anniversary of India's independence from British dominion after 200 years.

India commemorates its Independence Day with fervour .People from all around the country gather on the streets to celebrate, ignoring demographic differences such as caste, religion, or culture. On this day, people proudly display their national flag and sing the national anthem or another patriotic song.

National flag is hoisted and March past, is done by the Indian army during the celebration at Red Fort in New Delhi, Following the hosting of the national flag and recitation of the national anthem (JANA GANA MANA).India's Prime Minister delivers his annual speech on this occasion.

Our freedom soldiers battled for the independence of India. Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Jawaharlal Nehru, Mangal Pandey, and Dada Bhai Naoroji were among the famous leaders who heroically battled the British.
