Why Har Ghar Tiranga?
To invoke patriotism in the hearts of the people by building a
PERSONAL CONNECTION 
 with the NATIONAL FLAG.
Polyester Flags?
Yes, now polyester material can be used for making Tricolour. Earlier, it can be made only of silk, khadi, cotton, wool and bunting fabric,
Machine made?
Yes, now Tiranga can be made using the machine. Earlier it could only be hand woven or handspun.
Time of Hoisting Flag?
Now, Tiranga can be hoisted day and night. Earlier, the Tricolour could only be hoisted between sunrise and sunset.
Now, the public, private organizations or any educational institution can hoist the flag on any day, irrespective of occasion.
Who and when?
Mass contribution
The government has set a target of voluntary installation of the national flag on 250 million houses across the country.
Profile Picture
PM urged people to put the Tiranga" as their display pictures on social media profiles between August 2 and 15.
