Delhi EWS Merit List

Based on the first lucky draw conducted by the Delhi Education Dept. for the EWS/DG & CWSN category students, the Delhi EWS First Merit List 2022-23 was released on April 26, 2022

EWS and DG applicants figuring in the Delhi EWS First Merit List based on a computerised-draw of lots process can gain admissions to Entry Level Classes (Nursery Pre-School, KG/Pre-primary, Class-1) in Delhi schools.

Delhi EWS Result

The Delhi DoE conducts this admission selection every year by inviting online applications from economically weaker sections and disadvantaged groups to honour the RTE Act of 2009.

Right to Education

The Right to Education or RTE Act of 2009 mandates at least 22 per cent of seats reserved for low-income/EWS students and 3 per cent of seats be reserved for children with disabilities or DG.

Children qualifying the Delhi EWS DG Admission Process will be allocated designated schools in Delhi for the admissions to entry level classes. The Delhi EWS Second Merit List will be released after the first round of admissions is completed.
