Top 10 Law Colleges In India According To NIRF Ranking 2018

Within a couple of months, we will be witnessing a new academic year. Millions of students will be thronging to colleges or universities for the first time with a hankering to pursue their dream courses. They take many entrance examinations for an admission in the top colleges.

When it comes to top colleges in India, the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is safe. The NIRF ranking system was approved by the HRD Ministry and considers five parameters, namely Teaching, Learning & Resources, Research and Professional Practice, Graduation Outcomes, Outreach and Inclusivity and Perception. The government has recently released the India Rankings 2018 and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) stands tall at the first position. However, IIT-Madras and IIT-Bombay occupied second and third places respectively.

As the prestigious law entrance exam, CLAT is going to take place on May 13, students should know about the law institutes which made it to the NIRF Rankings, because a question may be expected in the exam. Here's the list of top 10 law institutes in India.

This Delhi university's primary aim is to promote legal and ethical values. The National Law University secured a score of 74.58.

Rank#3 Nalsar University Of Law

This law institute located in Hyderabad was accredited an A grade. It secured the third position with 70.95.

Rank#4 Indian Institute Of Technology Kharagpur

The prestigious IIT Kharagpur in West Bengal secured the fourth position with 67.07. It offers Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in intellectual property law approved by the Bar Council of India.

Rank#5 National Law University Jodhpur

This is one of the popular institutes for law in the country located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. It secured fifth position with 63.50.

The institute located in Lucknow was established in 2005. It secured the eight rank with 54.82.

This institute is located in Pune and is part of Symbiosis International University. It secured the ninth rank with 54.25.

Rank#10 Dr. B. R. Ambedkar College Of Law

The is affiliated to the Andhra University located in Visakhapatnam. It secured the tenth position with 50.93.
