The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) conducts the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) examination for the recruitment of Primary Teacher (Classes I-V) and Upper Primary Teacher (Classes VI-VIII) in schools of Uttar Pradesh. UPTET Eligibility

Candidates should meet all the eligibility requirements to apply for UPTET 2019 examination. One should possess a bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university. Candidates are advised to refer the UPTET official notification for detailed educational qualification. The minimum age is 18 and there is no maximum age restriction.

UPTET Online Form

Candidates have to apply online for the UPTET 2019 exam. The online applications will be available from November 1. Aspirants can fill the UPTET online form on the official website of UPBEB (http://upbasiceduboard.gov.in/). Candidates are advised not to make any errors while filling up the personal details.

UPTET Application Fee

  • General/ Other Backward Class (OBC) - Rs 600
  • Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) - Rs 400
  • Persons with Disability (PwD) - Nil

UPTET Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted as two separate papers. Candidates who are seeking to teach Classes I to V should appear for Paper-I. For Classes VI to VIII, Paper-II is required. One can also appear for both papers.
