Be it engineering or medicine, students will see a large number of national-level entrance examinations in the coming months. The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is one amongst them. This national-level entrance examination is conducted for admissions to the 5-year integrated MSc programme at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai.
Only candidates who have taken up the regular science stream can apply for NEST, preferably those who have studied at least three subjects amongst biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics during 10+2. This entrance test is conducted for admission to 202 seats at NISER and 47 seats in CEBS.
