The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) conducts the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) examination to ensure the candidates possess the essential skills and aptitude to become a teacher in any school recognised by the Department of School Education, Haryana. Candidates can register for a level or multiple levels.

  • Level-1 - Classes I-V (Primary Teacher - PRT)
  • Level-2 - Classes VI-VIII (Trained Graduate Teacher - TGT)
  • Level-3 - Classes IX-XII (Post Graduate Teacher - PGT)

HTET Preparation For Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

The questions related to Child Development and Pedagogy will focus on teaching skills for the age group of 11-16 years. The questions will be on understanding the characteristics, need and psychology of diverse learners and qualities of a good facilitator of learning. The language test aims at the proficiencies related to the medium of instruction required for the age group of 11-16 years. Candidates should note that the topics of the prescribed syllabus will be based on BSEH Classes VI-X. However, the difficulty level will increase up to the senior secondary stage.
