The exam pattern of GMAT consists of four sections, namely Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning. The duration of this computer adaptive test is 3 hours and 30 minutes. It consists of 90 objective type questions. The test score range from 200 to 800 and each section is time bound.

Candidates have to pay US$250 (INR 18,146) as exam fee. If a candidate wants to reschedule the exam within seven days of appointment, they have to pay US$250. The exam fee will not be refunded in the case of cancelling the exam within seven days of appointment.

    The GMAT exam measures the test-takers on verbal, mathematical, analytical writing, and integrated reasoning skills. The score range from 200 to 800. The official score is valid for five years and is available for reporting for up to 10 years. One can cancel the scores on test day following the score preview, or for a fee, within 72 hours from the scheduled exam time.
