University of Strathclyde offers India Smart Cities Scholarship

The Scottish Government and the University of Strathclyde are offering scholarships jointly for Indian students that will provide 50 per cent of the course fee. The scholarships are accessible to be undertaken for one year Msc course in Global Sustainable Cities.


The Applicants who do not have the English language as their first language are required by the university to provide evidence of their proficiency in English at higher level of education.

The scholarships are available for students who are looking forward to pursue full-time postgraduate taught programes.

The students who are eligible for the scholarship will be provided a 50 per cent reduction in their fee.

Number of Scholarships

A total number of five scholarships are available for the India Smart Cities scholarship by University of Strathclyde.


  • The applicants must be Indian nationals.
  • An undergraduate degree is a must to apply for the scholarships.
  • The applicants whose first language is not English will have to provide the evidence of their proficiency in the English language at higher level of education and it is required by the University for the applications to be accepted.

  • Find the 'SBS/Scottish Government India Smart Cities Scholarship' link
  • You can also go to the Application Form by Clicking Here
  • Fill in your details
  • The students are also required to provide a statement containing 500 to 1000 words which must summarize why they are suitable for the India Smart Cities scholarship.
  • Upload the statement and click on Proceed.
  • Follow the directions as mentioned on the website.

The deadline for the submission of the application is August 6, 2017
