XAT 2019: Online Application Process To End On November 30

XLRI to start the XAT online application process on August 20. Candidates can apply until November 30.

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), conducted by the Xavier School of Management, has released the official notification for XAT 2019. The online application process for XAT 2019 scheduled between August 20 and end on November 30. The XAT exam will be conducted on January 6, 2019, i.e., on Sunday between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm.

 

XAT is one amongst the leading national-level entrance exams conducted for an admission to management courses. The XAT score is being used by more than 150 institutes for the admission. The XAT 2019 exam will be conducted across India in more than 35 cities.

Changes In XAT 2019

There are many changes in XAT 2019 and the major one is the exam pattern. In XAT 2019, candidates will not find any essay writing test. There will be an online exam that consists of four sections, namely, verbal and logical ability, decision making, quantitative ability & data interpretation and general knowledge. The registration fee has been increased by INR 50 for XAT 2019. The organising body has also decided to remove one national and two international test centres for XAT 2019. The duration of the exam is also decreased by 30 minutes. Now the total duration for the XAT 2019 exam is 3 hours.

XAT Registration Fee

Candidates have to pay INR 1700 as registration fee. Candidates interested in XLRI programme(s) need to pay an additional INR 300 for each programme. Candidates submitting their application form after November 30 have to pay a late fee of INR 2000 as application fee.

Steps To Apply For XAT 2019

Step 1: Candidates should visit the official website XAT 2019 - www.xatonline.in.
Step 2: Click on the "REGISTER FOR XAT 2019". (August 20, 2018)
Step 3: Fill all the mandatory fields and details.
Step 4: Upload the necessary documents that include passport size photograph and signature.
Step 5: Pay the prescribed fee amount.
Step 6: Submit the application and take a printout for further reference.
