Arathi Reghunath, a young women hailing from Kerala, has beaten the pandemic-induced lockdown in her own way by completing 350 online courses in a record time of just 90 days registering a new world record.

Arathi Reghunath, a second-year M.Sc Biochemistry student of MES College and resident of Elamakkara in Kochi registered this extraordinary feat at the Universal Record Forum (URF) for completing maximum number of online courses in a span of just three months.

Speaking to Indian Express about her feat, Arathi Reghunath said, "It was my faculty at college who introduced me into the world of online courses. There are a range of courses online. All of them vary in duration and curriculum. With the support of my college principal Ajims P Muhammed, Coursera coordinator Haneefa K G, and class tutor Neelima T K, I managed to finish the courses I signed up for within a few weeks."
The COVID-induced lockdown was taken as an opportunity by Arathi Reghunath in pursuing numerous online courses listed on the 'Coursera' - an American open online course platform, and succeeded in creating a world record.
She has completed courses offered by world renowned universities such as University of Virginia, State University of New York, Technical University of Denmark (DTU), John Hawkins University, University of Colorado Boulder, etc.
